...................................................................................................

This is an Origami paper spider done by Marc ~Jevawty. He has created it for Angelo $spyed and gave it to him. Then I took it from him and made this shot. LOL

I had a book on it once... I lacked the patience necessary to do anything with folding beyond paper airplanes... BUT i had a friend that could make the most beautiful flowers with it...

hehe
since i'm more or less consisting of patience,
there's but one problem: understanding blueprints

even the bonebreaker-foldings crumble to simpleness if only you understand everything properly :evileye:

but don't just be happy with your impatience
there's still hope, right ? ^^

Nope. My art has about 8 billion folds in it already...

I dabble in just about everything it seems... I'm a Graphic Designer (my best strength at least...), a Desktop Wallpaper maker, a drawer of Original Characters, a Journal CSS designer, an amateur photographer, I occasionally make Corporate logos, emoticons, avatars for dA, etc... Not including random sketches of objects or miscellaneous scribblings... If that were not enough, I occasionally compose poetry or song lyrics (same thing but with a tune in my head). And that's just the surface stuff I put the "most" amount of time on...

Some of the things I truly love to do already suffer as a result of my diverse set of art-related interests...

Add to that strain, the responsibilities I have of a full time job, a full time husband, and a full time father of 2 little girls... All of these things come before my art...

Just clutching my sanity is about all I can accomplish some days...

Origami is a uniquely intricate and beautiful art, a craft I would love to learn, but i'm afraid it's a bit out of reach given all of "the above"...

:)

see,
the cool thing about patience is
that you don't have to hasten yourself to do "it"
you might aswell just fill in the epmty space of 1 minute per day
just to lern something "intricate and beautiful"
as you said it

and maybe in having patience for one minute per day
clutching ones sanity will be slightly easier, don't you think ?

i don't have a full force family nor a full force job
but i got a diffucult mind and personality
that aches in need of a lot more sanity than average
and art is the only sanity that worked so far
so i'm quite multifarious myself when it comes to this point
i'm writing poems, a book, i draw stuffy stuff, i do various instruments and create music,
and i work pro bono at a circus for youngsters, helping with stage design
whatsoever falls to my hands becomes art whysoever
but still my life isnt so much a golden shoe as more of an old ruin,
weathered from "too much patience" as it seems

Sagely wisdom for sure... But trust me when I tell you, that family robs you of time and sanity faster than a conversation where Politics AND Religion are being discussed... I don't get a minute here or there... I have to borrow time frequently, something i'm sure will put me in the grave ahead of schedule.

However, that last bit of prose in your reply... Very nice.

Yes, very nice indeed! :D

:iconimblushingplz:

weee~ thanks ^^

i come to think we're equivalent but with inversed proportions
since your timeless life kills you
and my timeful life just kills me aswell

so i feel like it's not the patience or impatience that turns a point in our lifes
it's more how we handle with it

probably you're fine with having that family
but grudgy when it comes to your self-ruin

same as me being fine with my self-ruin
but grudgy when it comes to inability to react

if you'd just accept self-ruin as something natural or benefittal or ... "non-negative"
then you might be more evened out, right ?
