Critiques
You capture the precise moment to shot, the cats are quite restless and curious, and that its something to empahsize in this work.
The lightness its the right, you can see the shape of the face whit the nice a and soft shadows over it. So is not a flat portrait at all.
And last, the DOF make the cat detached from the back so its well used.
My only suggestion would be maybe taking it with the whole face in focus? (or now you've done it just sharpen it) I find when looking at the focused parts the rest of the blurry features are a little distracting and confusing.
