The Letter from the WestTo the current holder of the Lordship of Dol Amroth, in the Kingdom of Gondor, Middle Earth.

I do not know how to start this letter, nor do I know if it will ever reach its destination. I know that it has to be written, but the reason for it is not yet revealed to me. I don't know where to start to introduce this awesome lady from the Netherlands. I found the picture above in someones favorite collection and clicked it because of the brilliant color scheme but was then totally drawn into the scene when I saw it in full view! See this ethereal light and atmosphere and subtle details that she created with minimalistic brush strokes, wow!!! It's almost impressionistic. I had to see the whole gallery right away and I wasn't disappointed. Many of her other paintings are created in the same individual imaginative tangible style, often minimalistic and speed painted, sometimes with an abstract feeling to it. *DM7 has received very little attention so far compared to her time being a deviant (under 30K pageviews since Oct. 2003!). In more than six years she never received a Daily Deviation! So I encourage you to go over to her page, give comments and favs on her art and suggest your favourite piece of art from her gallery as a DD to ^archanN! She also accepts commissions!

OMG!! Her talent is absolutely spectacular! I'm a real sucker for color, especially very intense color which has been meticulously blended with pastels....I'm new to Deviant, although I've been browsing the galleries since 2008, only recently joined and activated my teeny gallery...while I've been drawing for decades, in color pencil, I suck at painting, and am just now trying to learn more about the process...I dabble from time to time with digital air brushing, but THESE are truly awe-inspiring...thank you for posting her link, I'm on my way right now!
