Some notes on how I change the colors into purple

The color purple is very popular but not very many things in nature are truly that color. So many people change the colors digitally. Sometimes when you look at those works you see at once that the purple coloring is manipulated. Well, it is not really simple to manage a perfect purple impression with a wide color range and deep contrasts and I must say for me it is very important to start with the manipulation directly in the RAW file that comes from my camera. It helps a lot to turn down the color temperature (white balance) to a minimum depending on the original color. Also the levels for each single color red green and blue should be adjusted seperately until you get something close to purple. Only then you have a good base for your final purple manipulation in Photoshop or any other graphic program.
