And this rainbow rose is the birthday gift for myself. Isn't she spectacular? I am growing her in my garden and she presented me with various outstanding blossoms this year. Her original color is bright red but I gave the picture a special color treatment as I have previously done it before with other pictures. I must say I am very pleased with the job I have done on this one!!! I hope you like it, too.
My most popular rose photo Luxury can be purchased not only in my DA shop but also in a big poster shop in the Internet as maxi poster for € 6.99!
If there is one sentence I can come up with, it's this... holy crap, this is awesome!
Vision: It's a rose but it isn't just any kind of rose. It's a rose that has all the colors of the rainbow. Now normally, someone would say that it's our of the ordinary but this is by far incredible.
Originality: A rose with the colors of the rainbow? How original is that and I mean it in a good way. This is just... wow! Simply awesome.
Technique: I love the design you put on this with colors of the rainbow covering most of the rose. I know I find red, orange, indigo and blue cover most of it with the rest covering some parts. It's pretty cool and I love the realism in this. Simply amazing.
Impact: What more can I say on this. It's amazing. It's awesome and my god... this is just wow! It hit me good and I love every bit of it. You did an amazing job.
Overall: 5 out of 5. Perfect. Simply awesome. Well done.
I love the layering of colors here.... how there are multiple petals of each color, and how each color the petals are layered and patterned differently in relation to each other. The shadows and how each color interacts with other colors are really beautiful. And your copyright watermark is really subtle, as hui-li said in their critique, although they read it as 'Olivia'. I also like the purplish tint underneath the left-most dark blue petal, and the yellow tint of the background towards the top of the flower. Considering the bit of red tint to the right of the flower, I assume you did that on purpose. It's very cool, and I love this! Also happy belated birthday! :3
Interesting idea. I like how vibrant and colourful this looks, but I cannot help but question of a rose needs the colour in order to be beautiful. Maybe if I'd have seen some of your other work, in this series in particular, I would have understood better.
