Sakura 桜 is the Japanese word for Cherry blossom. They are most certainly one of the most beautiful tree blossoms in Spring ever. In Japan they have oceans of Sakura at the moment!

I wish cherry trees grew where I live, but they're not very native to California.  Very lovely shot, and wonderful detail. Nice idea on including the Japanese sign for Sakura.  -- Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year... Stock account: ~SDStock  Lovely!

Critiques
Sakura trees have always been one of my most favourite trees ever because they are always something look forward to in Spring, as well as their magnificent colours and how they spread across the trees making even the most dull and boring streets into something beautiful.
This close-up of a Sakura flower is fantastic as we can gain a further look to the glory of a sakura tree.
The subtle pink colour mixed with the deep pink and the orange creates a warming and welcoming atmosphere which the Japanese are surely lucky to have tons of Sakura trees around this time of the year.
Lilyas has yet again produced another piece of art that can warm the hearts of deviants of this community that is like a one big, if slightly disfunctional family
The colors of this photo are also very nice, to the lower right of the main flower, you can see an orange shade from a leaf, to me the color matches the pistols of the flower itself. Choosing where to focus is sometimes for me, very difficult, but in this photo, focus was just right. All in all, a great shot!
