I had this idea in mind for a while, taking a head-on shot of a rose blossom. Never have done it this way. I like it very much and hope you, too! It's a normal white rose, haven't done very much to it.
Wow. My first word for you is wow. It's the color and translucence that gets me. It's such a pale soft white, almost cream. Beautiful! I love the lighting in this picture, and perspective you took this photo from! The color of the flowers really pretty, and gives the photo the essence of being innocent. The inner petals look soft, and are as cute as a baby's bottom. The only thing I would have probably changed is in the top left corner, it shows a bit of background. I would have zoomed in a bit more and not have that. Over all I love this photo! You did such a great job! Keep up the great work!
Hmmm.... a very intriguing difference from all the dazzling colors and wonderfulness of the other flowers. The close-up lighting creates a dramatic appearance, and the swirls are almost vanilla ice-cream like. The diverse lighting hints a holy power shining on this rose, and so, the rose seems god-like as well. Although there are some strange tans hidden in the shadows, this naturally occurs and reminds us that even God himself has a little "dark side" to him. Overall, this photo is very well done, and the new photo that is white and pure is no worse than the other cool colored flowers. Well done!
