I remember that time when I joined DeviantART very well. Two days before on December 18, 2004 my beloved father died one day after a difficult surgery. He was very sick and lived in pain for many years. It was a relieve for him to go. For me it was very hard but I thanked God that I wasn't present when he died. I couldn't have stand it. My mother was. He waited for her visit to say good bye and then he left this world. One hour later she called me on the phone drenched in tears to tell me the sad news. I loved him very much and I still miss him! I dedicated my new photo work Blue Diamond to him.



I don't know if it was by chance but two days later I joined DA. I have found many wonderful friends and endless inspiration during my time here. Some of the first people I was in constant contact with were *J-a-v-i-e-r, *bluesman219, ~Erosa aka ~veritasgraphics, ~IamWhoIWasNot, =gingado, *unicorngraphics and ~viperv6. My very first watcher was ~TheCanterburyFails. I started with fractal art back in 2004. These were the earliest submissions to my gallery:



Fractals are still my biggest love of all and some of my best friends are fractal artists but I myself don't have much time for that medium anymore due to other art projects that I am more into lately.

On April 11, 2006 I received my first Daily Deviation on my original version of "DeviantART People 2006", an avatar collage, but the feature was removed after 6 hours. The featuring admin found out that there were avatars in it who contained copyrighted materials and so not only the DD was taken away but also the deviation was completed removed by DA a few weeks later. I got a second DD on Seraphína one day after the first as compensation for the removal and I recreated my avatar collage.



Anytime in 2006 DeviantART made custom CSS in journals available and so I started to learn CSS and HTML. I joined a big CSS contest at that time and won a runner up prize with my Autumn CSS, see this news article: The Winners, which I made also available as free CSS template.



In 2007 I went through some personal difficulties with an ex-boyfriend who mistreated me and found a lot of support and love in my deviantART friends when I decided to leave the shared appartment at once. But concerning boy-friends this year wasn't really better. I tried it twice again but weren't lucky with my men. Now I am single again. I assume this is the latest news about me that was still widely unknown. Many of you may still considered me being in a relationship but unfortunately this isn't anymore. On the other hand 2008 was a very successful year for me as an artist. I became what others would call "popular" but I say I became really professional in what I do and a lot of people appreciate that now. And I want to thank all you people for your constant support and watch of my art and for all the useful and nice feedback!

On the occasion of my DA birthday I want to reissue a game that I held in November 2007 to party 100.000 pageviews. Read on to learn more about it.
