It depends where you come from, in Malta it gets really hot in summer so once a day is mandatory, twice a day is normal as well, sometimes even three times if you go swimming

I read some comments and I think it's normal for some people, because of their situation not to take a shower more than once a week...
and I'm quite asthonished by the fact that most people shower every day, I find that very time consuming and a waste of water and whatever... for example I study all day and I don't have the time to shower every day.
However, I think one can also wash only with a bit of water and soap, without taking a shower...
p.s. I read my first comment again and I want to say, that I didn't want to offend somebody...I'm only happy today...

Hello!

Well.. originaly I Intended to not answer this poll but... I saw that some peoples can't understand that they act like ... and can't figure out that, in some places.. water can't be "found everywhere".. beside that... they act only how they know, how the "mass" say.

Sorry for this entry but.. I'm really sick of this type of people.

usually, every other day but not my hair, i usually wash my hair twice a week because that way it would stay shiny and nice :3

I put every other day, but that's kind of a recent thing. I was recently laid off, so all I have to do right now is some summer college courses. I don't see the point in showering every day if all I'm going to do that day is jump in the pool or clean the house. And now I save on shampoo and water bills and stuff like that! Plus shampoo is actually pretty terrible for your hair, so washing it less is pretty awesome.

And now I'm reading through the comments. A person can easily keep themselves clean and smelling good with hot water and baking soda-- no soap, no shampoo. I know, I thought it was a crazy idea... but then I tried it. It was absolutely amazing! Now, I still use soap when I shower (I can't bring myself to give it up just yet, though I'm going to search for a more organic kind of soap), but I don't use shampoo very often. My hair is much healthier and I discovered that my hair has a great deal of natural wave.

I get kind of upset with all the people that say "Oh my gosh. I shower twice a day and anyone that doesn't is a disgusting pig." You know what? If I hadn't told you that I don't shower every day, you probably would have complimented me on my hair and asked what products I used. I get that a lot. And besides, I don't make fun of the people that shower every day.
