I do not use sweeteners for my coffee and tea for sometime now. I got use to the real taste of coffee and tea. It's just a matter of conditioning your taste buds. Only now that I have this sore throat. I use honey with lemon to sooth my sore throat again.
When I drink milk I add honey and sometimes sugar (I drink goats milk and it is sometimes quite bitter on its own). When I drink tea or coffee I add half-spoon sugar which I THINK is a mixture of sugar and sweetener but I'm not sure...I just know it has half the calories xD I don't tend to add sugar to much else, I have the same sugar as in my tea on top of my cereals and I like to cook my carrots in a mixture of butter and brown sugar, but that's just because I'm weird.
