Do you pray for the people in Japan?

I do pray for Japan. That's all I can do.
I pray for Japan AND I donated money to help them.
It's my strong conviction that praying is useless.
Since I don't believe that praying is helpful I donated money instead.
I'd rather make a donation but I can't spare any money at the moment.
Other.

I think about the people in Japan when I look at the news then I stop thinking about them pretty much. I have not donated money to them either and I'm not going to.
I'm a horrible person because of that? Well aren't you judgemental.

I know a lot of people say they do this or that to sound nice, but in reality they don't do anything. Who thinks about the people in all the other countries? Or even kids in your own welfare country who can't go to school without being bullied or don't have money to take riding lessons or go on trip with their class? That's the people I think of now.

I find it disturbing to see that donations and stuff when "big things" are happening in the world is always becoming a competition. Like you care more than someone else just because you can spare money. And wow, if you donate AND something else well then you're just awsome. >_>

Donating money is so easy, I think it's probably one of the easiest ways to get away with "caring about people". Just move some money and then there's no need to think about it anymore and you can walk around looking down on people that said they didnt donate for this cause without knowing what they do for people insted.
