Storing images from DA: Copyright violation or not?

Since when is storing pictures a copyright violation? Read DA's Copyright Policy for enlightenment: about.deviantart.com/policy/co…
Of course not. As long as you don't do anything else but viewing them.
No big deal. If people don't want their pictures to be stored they shouldn't make them available in the first place.
It's fine ONLY when the artist provided the download of the file. Otherwise saving is not right.
It's close to art theft if there is no written permission to save a copy. And an enabled download doesn't mean you are allowed to have a copy of the file. A download on DA simply directs you to the original image source, not the saving procedure.
Yes. You can't simply save anything from the web unless it's explicitly marked as free stock or wallpaper.
Other.

Since images are downloaded the minute they load the page anyway, I don't have a problem with it.  I don't see it as any different than adding to their fav's.  DA offers watermarking, lower quality preview and smaller size (you shouldn't be letting them view it at full resolution or print size anywhere internet to begin with) that way it can't be printed without pixelating.  Select a small portion of your image and upload or add to the original image to show detail, and you can watermark them yourself.  Art's created and meant to be viewed and enjoyed.
