Description

Spring finally has broken through, Easter is near. The willow catkins are in full bloom now. I used my favourite purple shirt for the background.

I enabled the new 'Critiques' feature here. I always love to get real feedback on my work so I think I like that. :D Thanks for your visit and your valued comments!

The clarity on the actual plant, is just splendid. Being able to see each individual stamen and fluff is wonderful. It really draws the eye to look closer.

However, I think it would have more of an impact if the plant was seen in more of a natural habitat. The sparkly fabric distracts from the subject manner.
Some more lighting on it would be nicer to make the yellow pop as well, as the purple takes away from that.

Over all, I see a nice spring picture. With some adjustments, it would have more impact and colour to it, I think.
